We may still be a week away from the Fourth of July, but Beyoncé is already serving up some classic Americana looks to get us in the mood for the holiday.

The superstar took a break from cowboy dressing during a recent getaway to the Hamptons. She shared photos from the beachy vacation on Instagram today, including snaps of the outfit she wore aboard a yacht with husband Jay-Z.

The look was a perfect mix of the cottagecore trend and Bey’s current fixation on Americana fashion (the latter thanks in no small part to her Cowboy Carter era). For the centerpiece of her ensemble, the Grammy winner selected a charming minidress from Ibiza-based brand Charo Ruiz, which featured fluttery white lace, scalloped edges, a keyhole cutout, and a fitted bodice.

She included a nod to the Wild West by wearing an assortment of paisley-patterned accessories, from a white headscarf that she wrapped around her head à la Audrey Hepburn to a cherry-red leather tote bag that resembled a paisley handkerchief. To finish off the look, Bey continued to color-coordinate with a pair of narrow sunglasses with white frames and a bright red lip.

The Latest News on Beyoncé

Since announcing the release of her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, early this year, the Texas-born singer has used her wardrobe to deliver updated takes on what we generally think of as western clothing—including denim on denim, bolo ties, and even assless chaps.

Beyoncé has talked about her complicated feelings behind the making of Cowboy Carter, revealing that the project—which she says is “Act II” of a trilogy that began with 2022’s Renaissance—was a way for her to push back on perceptions of not only her musical legacy but also country music itself.

“The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me,” she wrote on Instagram back in March. “Act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”
