While some info regarding Dark Souls 3 was leaked yesterday by the Australian Xbox Store, the official details of the season pass have now been listed by both the Xbox Marketplace and Steam.
The Steam page says the following about the season pass: “Expand your DARK SOULS™ III experience with the Season Pass and gain access to 2 epic DLC packs at a discounted price. Challenge yourself with new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets. Prepare yourself once more and embrace the darkness.”
It’s essentially what we learned from the leak, but at least we now know that it’s official. The Dark Souls 3 season pass will cost $24.99, which will save you a little bit of money compared to purchasing the two DLCs individually. We’re still waiting on what those DLC packs contain, however, so we’ll have to wait and see if From Software comes out and gives us the full breakdown of the season pass sometime soon.
Dark Souls 3 is developed by From Software for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will launch on April 12. The game could potentially be the last game in From Software’s Souls series, as the developers have previously said that they don’t want to continue indefinitely creating Souls and Bloodborne games.
